I gave the SH-101’s keybed contacts a light cleaning today — mostly just dust, which is reassuring. Used contact cleaner and a soft brush, then wiped with isopropyl alcohol on a lint-free pad. The switches didn’t show any obvious corrosion, but a couple of the lower-octave keys had a faint residue that came off with a bit of scrubbing. No major issues found, but the synth still feels a little stiff in the left-hand register. Maybe a drop of switch lubricant later this week. For now, at least the dust isn’t making me cry.
